Black people love fried chicken and watermelon as much as the average Brit loves beer and curry.

Don't forget corn on the cob. Everytime I look inside a black persons trolly/basket at the supermarket there is at least one of these items. Coincidence? I think not.

Would it be racist if it was a black guy feeling awkward at a football match surrounded by rowdy white people shouting, so he gets out a bag of fish and chips and hands them out to ease the tension?

So what?

Facepalm. You just compared one nationality to a whole race of people. Well done. Of course the average black person doesn't love fried chicken and watermelon. Where is this conclusive evidence coming from exactly?

From people that haven't lived under a rock for the last 40 years? It's hardly an unknown thing. Go to your local KFC and count the number of black people that either are there or working there.

People do not work at KFC because they love the food...!

Regardless of how factual it is, the stereotype of black people loving fried chicken is well established.

Just what?

Why the hell would I walk around noticing stuff like that? Am I supposed to have a black man counter so I can log the amount of colored people working within particular takeaways during my day?

I don't think the advert is racist but the drivel people come out with to suggest that its not is unbelievable...

The black people I've personally known haven't really ever suggested more of a love of KFC than any random white people I've known.

America really is so uptight about the race issue.

I noticed even though they were supposed to be west indies fans (and were most likely australian extras) they still referred to them as 'African American', it's as if the word black is banned in America.

Well we've already establised that your powers of deducation and observation are somewhat weak, so perhaps I should have figured you wouldn't have noticed.

A stereotype doesn't mean that every black person you meet will love chicken, nor does it mean that they will talk about it with you if they did. I don't think anyone's suggesting black people run around like meth addicts shouting about chicken and trying to get their next shot. Just that a disproportionate amount like chicken. Like Indian people like BMWs.

oddly enough im feeling very hungry now. Im indian BUT DAMN KFC IS FINGER LICKIN GOOD! a lot of people in my family love it too.

Well i come from a country where the majority of the citizens are black and they do like fried chicken its a fact.
In the black areas out of every 20 takeouts 19 of them are either a kfc or chicken licken, they also sell fried chicken on the streets in the townships.
Its not racist to say they like fried chicken and if anyone thinks it is they really need their head checking

Well they are American, and the majority of the world knows Americans take certain things above the limit, they simply overreact.

So if i bought a KFC now, and shared it with my black friend, i'm racist basically.

yes! so be careful because "they" are watching you:)

Would it be racist to have an advert with lots of bored punters sitting in a Wetherspoons, then a black bloke goes "I KNOW!" and starts buying everyone beers / curry?

No, it bloody wouldn't.

Idiotic Americans.

Reminds me of this hilarious video.

"Peoples have kids that they trying to feed. You mean to tell me we can't feed our kids cos y'all didn't order enough chicken?" :D Too brilliant.

The guy at 50 seconds cracks me up everytime. "No chicken? Or are they just out of chicken!?" Haha!

Sorry if you've all seen it before but meh :p
