has anyone checked what the serial numbers represent on the bottom here (if they mean anything at all?)

checking the P1022 this pops up

unless i'm miles away with what those numbers mean?!

I wonder what happened to the other GTX380?

Last time we saw that rig it was in SLi if you remember.

You can even see in this photo from CES that there was another one in there as the two power cables are in the bottom left

36% faster...I'll believe it when we see benches

What if this is the 360 part and its 36% faster? lol that would shake things up a bit...

Tho from the wording of how they came to that number if could mean anything... might just be the result in one specific test.

All you can eat Silicon night at Nvidia.

Try SLI.

Tom Peterson getting stuck in "One down two to go"

Sadly though, even Nvidia themselves cant stomach a TRI SLI system. The last card made it to CES. :D

Are you sure about this? I was under impression the additional power was sourced from the aditional PEG.

Nothing there saying the slot is 150w .. unless I'm reading that wrong.

PCIe 2 can deliver 150w through the slow from the spec I have read, of course at the moment no one would ever do that as I guess it then wouldnt be PCIe 1 compatible.

Indeed, these cards will need to be backward compatible so they can't rely on any additional power above what an older slot can supply.

Actually (atleast) 2 exist - they were showing the other card somewhere else... a bit worrying tho that they had to (apparently) split an SLI set just to show in more than 1 place at a time.

This will probably be some type of early development card but it is very odd that Nvidia have not crammed them in. Maybe this is the only one they have that works.

What show is the other card at Rroff ?

Not at an actual show - it was being demo'd elsewhere.

I was kinda saying that semi in jest tho as I'm not sure on the dates as to if they really conflict or not.
