FIRST Picture of GF100 @ CES 2010

disappointing and a bit worrying that just an 'off the record' to say 37% faster than a 5870 - presuming A3 projected as card in the box likely still the A2 silicon?

but well will see when real benchies available after release & compare to ati's response - not in market till april anyway

Did it sound to anyone else like he was claiming Physx was helping those enviroments look so real, and also the wording was a little.... WE'VE got tesselation making this look so good?

Its great that Nvidia think Tesselation is a substantial benefit, shame they had MS rip it out of DX10 while its been sat dormant in AMD hardware for THREE years.

You do really have to wonder, if its without question faster than the 5870...... why haven't they shown the fps counter, clear win easily? Wonder how many review sites will be being asked to benchmark only dx10 games when it comes out, no dx11 or dx10.1 games.

Its a huge blow for Nvidia, or possibly a blow coming out so late, should be a good few dx11 games out by its real launch, had it been launched in sept-nov , it would have less chance to be shown up in dx11, which is likely to be its big weak point. If it launches, is faster than a 5870 in dx10, but same speed or even slower in dx11, who the heck would buy it.

I think personally, lack of numbers on the demo indicate two things, a card not at final performance so they aren't willing to show the performance, which also indicates its as guessed one of the done with A2 samples at lower clocks and A3 cards simply aren't ready yet.
