I've seen many value ones out right now but not quite sure which one to go for!

All it is going to be used for is the OS really and the rest will be stored on my mechanical drive. So just wondering which I should really look for, the intel-V?

Suppose my budget would be around £100-150.

Yup, the intel-V is what you want. Will give your O/S a lovely speed boost.
