BF2 server OCUK now up

GG all! Was really close

I'm 'SteveZOMG' and was commanding the MEC team, never been commander before, took me about 5 mins to work out how to get the command screen open

One thing more guys, myself and cockers (aka matt pithers) will be looking for is admin on the server, the good thing with BF2cc is we can montior every thing each admin does, so giving out admin will be easier, cos if you abuse it, it'll be taken straight off you

IF you are interested, come on the vent server and have a chat with us so we can get to know you.

Also would be really handy for us if you guys joined the steam Battlefield steam group, this will be used for BF2 and BF:BC2:

Yeah no worries, had a decent game on tonight. Been awhile and remembered why I get annoyed with bf2 lol Just hope BC2 is better. Looks good via youtube.

Some nice knife fights tonight, shows skill pulling out a knife instead of a gun, see 2 people having one, dont wander in with your gun guys.

Don't have vent but maybe when i get a new pc hopefully before BC2 comes out

i got that with 1.50 installed , installed 1.41 which didnt make sense but it worked lol

I popped on there for 45 mins or so (same username) and thoroughly enjoyed it, only thing though, my stats didn't update, does this only happen when a round ends or was it not ranked play last night?

Yeah sumtimes it can take a few days for stats to register, i remember spending hours trying to get promotion, had countless in game promotion notifcations but it took 4 days to register and let me un-lock my new guns!

roll on 2nite, 10pm! IF any1 is about and our server is quite we can always do sum squad work so give me a shout on steam or xfire

LMAO valve there is an award for dieing a lot, its called the "puple heart" you get it when you die 15 times without killing haha!

its a 5/1 ratio - typically get 5 kills 20 deaths and the Purrple Heart is yours

In all my time in BF2 I only got one recently...got drunk and thought "yeah baby , Inf only, bring it on!" only to get the Purple some 10 mins later

I remember going onto a special forces map, cant remember which one, it was a massive boat? sum guy was just camping in heli killing every1 thro a bay...... i was determined to see the map but couldn't get outta spawn, when i did he just followed me round and owned the hell outta me!

Played my first infantry only game yesterday, during the day, thought it was brilliant. Squad work, great teamplay, very enjoyable.

Played another in the evening, all I can say is "nade spam". Jeez that was frustrating.

Goon, will be on tonight for 10pm game for sure.

are the pistol and knife servers still running?If they are i may install bf2 and have a blast on those,then ill probably pop into the server for a quick blast,do you have any maps in rotation that has the j10,wake maybe?

Sounds all good. People coming back to the old game. People buying it lol I've spent ages on this game, finally dropped playing it until I heard about this server. Shame i'm like 13,194 points away from my next rank lol.

I had a game last night. Was good but got annoying when people became commanders when it was like 3 against 3 or 6 against 6. I was thinking, any chance on adding to the rules - No commanders unless it's 10 V 10 or more. Makes the game more enjoyable sneeking up on people when its like 5 V 5. More cunning. Theres nothing worse than making a long trip across the map for a flag with hardly anyone on the server and getting killed with the help of a commander

Also need to mention clays on flags unless your fine about that? Apart from that seems good. Might see you guys on at 10pm.

Having problems trying to add the rules to messages, BF"cc, does wont save them... will try again 2morrow tho!

Mine was doing that untill I installed .NET framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.

I agree with Mikes rules too, if we are in agreement I'll stick that in the server message then?
