The jumping off bit for me would be awesome. I'd love it. It's landing that I don't like the sound of.. I'd probably land in the sea.. or on a motorway.. or on a flag pole..

It's rather irrational isn't it?
As long as it's done right, and obviously not too much bravado stunt, I don't see why skydiving can be dangerous. Risky, yes. It's part of the thrill but fatal is not quite as bad as shown.

Yeah, wasn't it some french dudes sneaking in while it was under construction. That wasn't a record but it was definitely more interesting.

Nice tall building without too many overhangs, dry heat thermals, in basejumping terms, easy. Cool though, wish I couldve done it.

I'd have thought that for base jumping, the 'record' would be the lowest jump. (above a certain minimum)

Only done a few base jumps but that would have been a hell yes! If I lived on the top floor I'd be keeping a parachute on standby for emergency exits!

Ahhh ELsinore I spent several years skydiving there. Did a hot air balloon jump there and jumped a DC3 too! :cool:
