I'm afraid to say it's much more prevalent in certain races round here. Can't see how it's a derogatory statement when you start to generalise based on your observations.What's his colour got to do with it, unless you're generalising his actions to make a derogatory statement about a particular race in general? This sort of aggressive and threatening behaviour is unfortunately all too common in certain people of all races.
Amazingly when I moved away from an area with racially varying problems my racism disappeared as well. It's almost like if you're not around to see it you'll never be able to make racist genralisations.
