Direct X 11

I have , a radeon x1950 pro 512 on DX9 running windows 7 ultimate , and my new 5850 should be here today if it can get through the snow , all i need to know is wether dx11 gets installed when updating the driver to the 5 series , or if i manually have to download dx11 and install??

yeah, this is a pretty massive upgrade.

wondering what CPU you've got, because if it's as old as your now old card then it's going to be holding you back

I shall , either today or tomorrow is shall be getting an SSD drive ( not sure which one yet ) and a 1TB storage drive , again not sure which one to get , then thats me done for a few years!! Lovin it compared to my old build!!

there isnt really and games out of yet is there for direct x 11 ...they will be soon though.
