I loved every bit of this game. The graphics were great, loved the game play and enjoyed it's features and the free roam world, the storyline and how it progressed was also great. One thing I've learnt on this forum...never listen to OCUK opinions on games, they are wrong!!

Lool you are one of the few many that liked it, if they change the checkpoints/ weapon upgrades and AI strength i would have given it an 8, but it felt that UBI soft wasn't listening to the community and didn't finish the game properly

I agree, I was totally looking forward to FC2, the trailers made the injury and weapon systems look great - no its completely arcadish.
Biggest let down of last year
I really enjoyed FC2,the driving through checkpoints and constantly being attacked got tedious,so I ended up playing the game as a roaming/stealth'em up fps,sneaking into checkpoints and using the widely varied weaponry was great fun and for me very satisfying.
If you just bomb around vacuously in a jeep,you'll get bored very quickly i'd imagine,but thats not how the makers ever intended the game to be played.
Many people unfortunately seem to play FC2 in a dumb fashion,what they should do is put themselves into the shoes of the main character and think about how he would act/react in such a dangerous/hostile environment,let's face it he wouldn't constantly ride around in an open topped jeep whistling a happy tune as though on ****ing safari! he'd be watching his arse at every turn,crawling through undergrowth and filthy stinking ditches when necessary,slitting throats where possible to minimize unecessary attention.
FC2 is a game that rewards patience and a thoughtful/intelligent approach as opposed to a running around like a brainless moron,spraying lead in every direction approach.

Agreed. No idea why it was called that. I can only think it was to do with marketing reasons.

Ah ha! Someone who knows how to play the game. IEDs and sniper rifles are where it's at!
No sir I did not.
I thought it was an OK game although obviously it had some HUGE flaws (the 88% bug being by far the worst I encountered - ironically Ubi support were so useless that the only way I was able to progress in the game was to downgrade to an earlier version (i.e. uninstall it and re-install it without patching) so that I could exploit yet another bug (being able to move through walls by pivoting round your mortar!).

Agree completely.
One of the best shooters in recent years.
Weapons feel really good, environment and atmosphere superb.
Enemy AI is as good as anything ive seen before.
Proper sandbox game.
You kill people and decide how your gonna do it.
Much prefer this than MW2 'lead me by the hand' style of game.
I just can't see this. OK, you can plan your attacks, but to me the guns are so arcadeish - you can't even change firing modes etc
