The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

He's Mr Anderson now :)
I will never understand why WWE got rid of him, he was a decent worker (yes he did get injured), he was actually liked by the fans (who cheered him even over Cena in 08).

I see him and AJ putting on some amazing matches.

Can see Anderson getting on well in TNA, he should get to main event status pretty quickly, something that the WWE was always reluctent in giving him.

On another note, anyone know why Jeff Hardy didn't appear on this weeks Impact?

It's already been confirmed that it's Kennedy debuting

I give it one ppv appearance before he's injured again ;)

Where has it been confirmed?
And he managed to go the whole Hulk tour without injuring himself, and he fought Umaga afaik there.

After speaking with a high level source within TNA, I can now confirm that Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson will be debuting with the company this week.

Anderson will either debut at the Genesis PPV, as the surprise wrestler that Jeremy Borash previously tweeted about, or he will debut at the Impact tapings the night after.

The intent right now is to have Anderson debut at the Genesis PPV, but if TNA decides to hold out, then he will debut at the Impact tapings on Monday. Either way, Anderson will debut with TNA within the next week.

Also...

During an interview with the Ottawa Sun promoting his new movie, Tooth Fairy, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he will "absolutely" be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment. He say he's looking to return this summer after he completes filming on another movie.

"Will I go back? Absolutely. The goal is to go back and do something special. I talked to Vince (McMahon) a couple of months ago and we're trying to come up with something," Johnson told Tim Baines of the Ottawa Sun. "After I wrap 'Faster,' maybe in the summer I can go back."

He also confirms reports saying that he was scheduled to guest host this past week's episode of Raw, but was called to Mexico to promote Tooth Fairy.

"The plan was for me to be the host (this past Monday)," Johnson said. "But then I had to go to Mexico (to promote the movie). The idea of me going back to WWE is intriguing and exciting. I grew up in the business."

Brilliant news, even if it's only for a month or so, Rock v Cena? Rock v HBK? Cant wait!

The 'something' he's been talking about with Vince is more likely to be a Rock hosted TV show from what i've read about it. Definitely doesn't sound like he'll be back in the ring.

- Sources report that the Bobby Lashley vs. Abyss match will not take place tonight as Abyss will attack Lashley and lay him out before the match.

Ken "Kennedy" Anderson is then set to make his TNA debut in the match against Abyss. Anderson has been confirmed as the "major acquisition."

And the impact zone has had another make over
