windows blind 7 is only £12.25, got it the other day. its cheap for what you can do with it

I see, well the 7 taskbar is just so much more functional for day in day out multitasking and actually getting things done promptly.
Vista's taskbar is no different to any previous version of Windows, it had nothing new to add other than Aero.

it only happens with long exposures

You do realise you can spot remove them in Photoshop/RAW?
Also sensor cleaning is so quick and easy, sensor swabs is all you need.
