I wouldnt concider it a rip off , you now have 3 gigs of video memory .

Are you running the 178.13 drivers ?

Have you tweaked vista and video card performance settings ?

I smell a couple more frames there somewhere .

Unfortunately not, he still only has 1GB useable.

IceWinds score in Warhead with TRI-SLI looked far more promising, but then he does have a QX9650 @ 4.2ghz. Maybe email him to see how he's got his set-up.
 
Blarg, just got a staggering 20.225FPS on my [email protected], 4850 1Gb stock speeds, latest drivers.
Is the CCC any good at overclocking, as I remember seeing the option for it. Or it it best to do it manually?

Hey ZoomZ, yes to 178.13, however, not sure what you mean about Vista video card settings... pray tell kind sir. ;)
 
this is what i call performance for money :)

note: this is the "BFG gtx260 OC2 MAXCORE" (it's only 10 more than OC1). the new one with 216sp.

as you can see, pushed to same speed as gtx280, and can beat it without problem. gtx260+ is something you people really should consider. it's got all the good points of an nVidia card with 4870 1GB's price and performance.

Am going have to run this test with my SLI GTX 275 later to see what the difference is....
(Don't know how much windows 7 will effect the results )

Do I have to download crysis, or can I just use the warhead folder? I've got a 5850, so i'll post its score with a I7 920 stock.
