The NFL Playoffs Thread

2 Divisions - NFC and AFC. 32 teams in total. Split into 8 groups of 4.
The teams ranked 1st of the 4 groups in each division go to week 1/2 depending on their win/loss ratio.
2 'wildcard' teams with the best win percentages from each division go to week 1 and play the 2 'top' teams with the worst win/loss of the 4.
Winners of week 1 play the 2 'top' teams with the best win/loss of the 4 in week 2.
Winners of week 2 (the best 2 teams from the divisions) play each other in week 3.
Winners of week 3 (the best 2 teams in the NFL) play each other in the Superbowl.

I hope that's clear. :o

Ill read it through and try and get it, thanks!

Also NFL rules because of this

Going back to the Green Bay game for those who stayed up to watch it did anyone feel the Packers should've had a 15 yard penalty for a facemask on the final play? Adams clearly gets a grip of Rodger's facemask I think. Guess they were just unlucky.

I want to see the Chargers vs the Saints or Cardinals in the Superbowl. I love watching the wide receiver threat of San Diego and Rivers has a laser of an arm at the mo.

Having said that Dallas look like the most complete team at the moment, they have Felix Rogers in great form and they play really strong D.

I'm pretty neutral and don't follow any one team so can just sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

The NFL beats watching my team Liverpool play like lemons every week hands down.

Colts defense was flat out awesome last night. Pierre Garcon's hustle to force Ed Reed to fumble was the defining moment of the game.

Hopefully Jets win tonight.

Jets fan here. I was very excited to see them get into the post season, but even more so to see them beat the Bengals! Unfortunately on nights tonight so will be recording the game for tomorrow.

J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!

Should be two good games tonight. Going for Vikings and Chargers although looking forward to seeing Darrelle Revis shut down Vincent Jackson. Big game needed tonight for Antonio Gates.

On a sad note just reported that Bears DE Gaines Adams has passed away. Aged 26.

Championship Round:
Jets @ Colts
Vikings @ Saints

Going for the Jets v Vikings in the Super Bowl :p

That's funny as I'm going for Colts vs Saints. :D

Glad to see the Chargers lose, I hate that team.

Also, how ironic would it be if the Colts get knocked out by NYJ after letting them into the playoffs by resting starters against them?

Well logic would seem to suggest the Colts v Saints Superbowl but I like picking the outsiders and you can make arguments for any team to win.

I like the Vikings D to limit the Saints and AP to actually have a good game for once (recent form hasn't been great)
