Aye, I'm in the same boat. Go alone! People always tell me a holiday alone really is an experience that's needed. I think they mean more backpacking for a few months though.
Pay for my flights and I'll head to China with you
My friend is going to Japan next week for 4 months. Gonna live with someone she used to go to school with but is going to get most of her time alone to explore. Lucky!!

Aww man, so lucky! My brother done a year backpacking around Australia, the stories he has from there are immense! You get some strange and wonderful people out there it seems

Yea. Main point for me when I go on vacation is to experience something far from what I have done before
Also have a friend who has been backpacking through Thailand. They said it was a bit tricky because of the language but made it with hand gestures. So jealous..
