On their main website for starters. There was 5 unlocks given for various reasons, signing up early, a machine gun given for people who registered on the website and so on.

Some codes were just listed as it was impossible to get normally right now. One unlock was given for being a Battlefield veteran which means you own a copy of another bf game

They mentioned that for 1943, buy that and they give an unlock on bc2 but since they havent even bothered to release that, maybe its been changed


Sorry I dont have the codes here, try Ea.com and keep looking for BC webpage of the type they update before the game

if i preorder after the beta date, say the 3rd of feb (random date) will i still get a beta key?

there is a fair bit of physics to run on rubble etc flying out of scripted holes.


Although i suppose you could always turn that to a minimum.
 
am i right in thinking that if you order from steam, everyman and his dog are all going to be downloading at roughly the same time on release day ?
 
All being well it should pre-load the vast majority of the files before release, but ****-ups on big releases due to the bandwidth demands aren't unheard of.

I think I'll be saving myself a tenner and going with Play, my connection wont be too fond of me for downloading 15gb of game anyway. Hopefully the beta client will be mirrored quickly and a more reasonable size.

EDIT: Preordered! Really can't wait for (what I hope will be) a return to the good ol' days of Battlefield. 1942 and BF2 were my bread and butter gaming for years until WoW dragged me away. Here's hoping BFBC2 will drag all us PC fans back together once more.

yeah im thinking its going to me mayhem, so im going back with play, get the beta off them and see what the situ is with steam after, i can always cancel the play order AGAIN
 
All you guys asking if your i7/295 gtx combo will work well with this game...and I am sat here hoping that my C2D 2.4 and 260 gtx can still cut it. :p :o
