most games let you preload a few days before, but on release day you're all trying to decrypt at once but that;ls not so bad.
They handled the much bigger launch of MW2 without too much issue, so this should go fine.

I only have a c2d running at 2.0 GHz, so I'm at the bottom of minimum req. I do have a 8800 GT though which is better than min, but I think my CPU will be a big downside. Luckily I'm using an old CRT, so I only have to power 1280x1024, I don't have to push out the pixels that bigger LCD screens have so hopefully that will make up for my lack of power. I was planning on upgrading my CPU eventully, but after the pain that was installing a tuniq tower, I'm never going to remove it as it was a right annoyance to install.
It is worth it in the long run though to be honest.

In the long run it's even less worth it, as you can't sell the game.

well 4 v 4 will require more teamwork to be good at it, so it could make a good choice for clan play. For public servers though I don't think there will be enough teamwork for it to be amazing.

No some people are genuinely concerned about their specs,as I am too.
