My Lian Li PC-A71F

Its actually pretty low, the front intakes are 140mm, at 1000 rpm, rear exhausts are 120mm at 1500 rpm. Definitely worth the price, i moved from an akasa eclipse which was a fanastic case. The a70fb is in a different league altogether.

It really is in a different league, I've not even thought twice about how much it cost, they are simply that well laid out, that well put together, and that nice to work with/look at.

Think about it another way, your case will outlast any PC you care to put in it, my last case (a Coolermaster ATCS-201-SXK) lasted me over 8 years, yes it cost me £130~, but that's only £16.25 a year!

A decent case is an investment, so the cost is justifiable IMO.

Id always read/heard about Lian Li's build quality. Saw an A71F up close in a clients house i was working in. Asked him if i could take a closer look, i was really impressed with the build and finish. Also the range of accessories for them is unreal. Already considering a stealth drive bezel for my blu ray drive.

Might be worth it for me then considering im just about to go onto my fourth case in two years just because i get bored very easy.

How many fans is there all together?

4 supplied as standard. Though it would be possible to fit another 120mm front intake. Lian Li produce 5.25 bay units that will take a fan. I have something similair in the scythe kama bay, undecided as to wether or not to fit it.

EDIT: kama bay fitted in this one from another user.

This is the A70FB variant of he case (same as mine) A71fb is the version with the door. Both are identical internally.

If i was to get one i would be fitting a tall cpu cooler. Seems like there is plenty of space yeah? Really tempted now. Was going to get a new case, CPU cooler and tv card but might scrap the tv card for now and got for this case.

Got a Antec P182 at the moment and find it pretty cramped when using the middle HDD bays. This seems perfect

Don't think you'll get much taller than my Tuniq Tower 120, and there is still space to spare.

Using a thermalright ultra in mine and it fits grand. The ultra is 160.5mm high.

Very tempted by it now. My current card is not the longest but i plan on getting either one of the 57xx or 58xx cards soon.

Hope you dont mind all these questions. Just dont want to change my mind again in a few months.

The top fan joins the daisy-chain after running down the back of the motherboard tray. They are then easily attached with one molex

Ok, stupid question time.

Do you mean plugged into each other and then attached to one PSU connector? Sorry to be thick. Is it better that way than to use a PWM adapter?

Not sure whether to use a fan controller or what means to best connect multiple fans like that (most I have connected is 3).

Yep, all three fans come with a passthrough 4-pin molex connector, so each fan is plugged together and then plugged into one 4-pin molex from the PSU.

Currently my psu is just sitting on the rubber rails, only held in place with the locking bracket, not sure if the bracket would still close if clamped down on the fan.
