BC2 BETA... Your thoughts and SCREENSHOTS of it

How big in MB is the beta?

Do people still drive away in vehicles on their own without waiting for you to jump in?

Do friendly tanks still reverse into you?

Are there classic BF2 like choke points on the map? Like everyone just fighting over one spot for the entire round?

Do medics still not heal you even though you spam the voice com that asks for a medic.. while standing right beside him!

Do people still camp vehicle spawn areas?

Poorly, you can alter the settings, but not by an aweful lot, its a straight up console port behind the scenes with a slightly reworked front end. All i was expecting though

Good, everything maxed I get 30-50 fps but every now and again I like freeze for a split second.

It runs like a 3 legged dog for me, not sure what fps im getting but it doesnt feel smooth, turned everything down to medium and it didnt seem to make any difference at all. Not like im running a shoddy system either

Actually, I think 2142 looks sharper... except for the backgrounds, they look like crap.

Tried for 5 minutes to find a server that wasn't full, finally got in, lag was horrific. Exited. Spent another 5 minutes trying to get in to another server. Lag was horrific. Gave up.

Laggy and overall not as great as i thought might be.

Just seems like battlefield 2 with a few bits that are destructible.

Yay cant connect to a single game, either refuses to connect or atempts to load/join and kicks me back to the main menu and the server browser doesnt even display pings...

this game is going to patched so much it's not funny. and knowing Dice they will break more than they fix..
