I managed to get in and play a couple of rounds; I thought it was quite good!Not much lag on the server I was playing on.

Well heres me blowing up a tank and i enjoyed it sounded awesome then the CTD's happened only had 5 mins want more
That engineer peashooter really is the ultimate pos.
I managed to get a head shot with it from accross the (narrow) width of the map! One might call it luck...

Guys, there are the same amount of people trying to play this open beta as people who will be buying the game.
There are only a handful of official servers at the minute because the dedicateds havent been bought yet.
No wonder its laggy and hard to get a game.

That is absolutely hilarious
The tank bit had me cursing my head off, ran over him twice, shelled him a couple of times and nothing, yet as soon as they fire their weapons im being slapped about
Been playing for an hour or so on a few servers. So far the negative points for me seem to be:
1. FOV is far too zoomed in.
2. Your player wobbles about too much when walking and running, does my head in.
3. The few servers ive been on and that map seems to be a sniper fest.

Yeah there is a ton of snipers, and on that map on the hill theyre really hard to spot with the ghille suit. Can you picture proning snipers on that map? Don't even want to think about it.
Can I download and play the Beta through steam with the key I got from Play? Play have just linked me to the EA site, who have linked me to a load of absolutely useless sign-up servers, and the ones that are free are slow as snails.
If not the steam option can someone give me a good link to a server? 5kbps is not acceptable.

Played for a bit and really enjoyed it so far. Lag and finding servers obviously a but of a problem, can't actually use the server browser as it CTD so have to use 'play now' (dunno if this is the same with everyone but there is a notice up about it.
My main gripe is it that it feels ...slow... Probably because i'm so used to COD4 but the movements etc just seem to be really sedated.
Prob just me though.
