Been playing this over the weekend and it has reminded me of what an absolutely great RTS it is, and I am asking myself why I stopped playing it all the way through them few years ago.

COH is in my top 3 of best RTS games.

Haven't played multiplayer yet am still in training with the campaigns.

can anyone tell me if there is a way to play as the germans in skirmish mode? i havent managed to find a way to do it

All you need to do is click on the AI (normal by default) and click to move to that starting location and it moves you to the Axis side ...

Searching for mutilplayer games is still poo tho, but once I found one, it is hell of a blast!!

£6.23 for all three is a steal, one I didn't resist. Initial install didn't work, verify cache showed 38 files corrupt. Like Dawn of War but without the stupid storyline.

Ive got The first 2 games on dvd. If i bought tov on steam, can i play them together with the same account?

Yeh... TOV campaign is rubbish compared to the first one.

Steam says each game is 9gb.


Please someone tell me this isn't a 30gb install.

I think its a 2-3gb download and then once installed the folder only takes up 9gb.

It's about 7GB download for the first game, then OF uses the same files and so it downloads about 2GB extra on top (the DL started at 71% for me having already completely downloaded COH). Combined total they use about 9GB of HDD space.

I didn't buy ToV so I don't know if that does a similar thing or is entirely separate.
