Poll: User Avatars - What are the post requirements for each?

I think the massive sigs are more intrusive and bandwith intensive than any avatars would be, thats if it was either one or the other.

I like the current avatars, though I do wish there was more, so you could choose from three or so at a certain post count instead of one.

What I want to know is why he want s a custom picture to the left of his post yet refuses to have a custom picture underneath his posts?

It's the way it is because that's the way we want the forums to be. However we did add extra rankings and avatars after requests. Custom avatars are not going to happen though.

If you visit most other forums you'll see how bad it looks with custom avatars and signatures that take up 20 lines and have animated GIFs in them. This forum is actually half readable thanks to the strict policy.

EDIT: I've just noticed that I have the wrong avatar anyway. I have the 100+ posts one, not the 1000+ posts one. Oh dear, how sad...but never mind.

The problem with them is that since so many people have the same one you think its the same poster when its not which get annoying.
