What Search Engine do you use? Google, Yahoo or Bing..?

Google these days, though I did like DirectHit back in the day. :D Bing provides results that are too far removed from relevant for my taste. I wasn't say they're irrelevant but they aren't on a par with Google and take me longer to sift through to find what I want. They also tend to not have the obvious results high up (eg if I search for 'Newzbin' I might get 10 sites that vaguely talk about Newzbin, and then Newzbin itself on page 2 or 3 lol).

Yahoo!? Is that still alive? It looks (looked?) like someone sicked up a little on my monitor. Far too cluttered and 'everything to every man'. I stopped using it years ago when they started shoving all those extra 'services' down your throat. :)

Google. Bing is the default search engine at college for some reason, which I occasionally somehow find myself ironically using to get onto Google. But as others have said: Google is plain and simple; everything else is unnecessary.

Wow, Google really did do a number on us this last ten years didn't they? Talk about market penetration. :o

Remember in 2000 when people thought AOL was the next big thing, the internet revolution...

Because that happened, Google were better!

I can understand why MS called their new search engine bing. Firstly if you're gonna stand a chance to compete with google, you have to come up with a catchy name which also is ambigious and the word bing achieves that. Just as the word google is now synonymous with search bing may also do the same thing (though I doubt it). Bing sounds very much like bingo, or if it really become popular people will be saying bing it when they want to look up something, which also sounds like bring it.

It's good I like bing.

Google suggests 'look!" for me. Bing suggests old people, don't know why, and old people can be annoying.

Meh.

Yahoo is basically a joke these days, Bing was a decent attempt by MS but it gives erratic search results and it's index is tiny compared to Google's and isn't catching up, combine that with there very dodgy web-crawler killing peoples sites I think it fairly safe to say that Microsoft's products shouldn't be allowed on the web unsupervised.

Google simply dominates the technology and the mind-share, with there new enhancements rolling out this year expect them to stretch out the technological lead back to a couple of years again.
