Hmmm.. I've been enjoying myself thus far. At the start the game seemed rather stale and bland, but upon learning the controls for the various races I've been having a blast. Plus, this is only one mode, I'm sure the team versions are a lot better game play wise.
I'm not sure about the auto melee aiming though for the PC version, makes it all to easy.

PS3 version has begun to allow you to play with whoever you have in your group if it can't find the full 8. Is the PC one doing this?

Ok, here's a gripe I've not really seen mentioned. Does the game just feel "empty" to anyone else? For an online multiplayer demo it seems very detached, no sense of interaction with other players, almost like being on a server full of bots on CS:S (though at least then there's the radio chatter).
Considering the earlier AvP games were so atmospheric I just feel cheated here. There's no suspense or tension, it's just run until you see something, hammer mouse1, repeat.
I hope people can tell what I mean, despite the disjointed and poor description. I'm just going to slink away for some much needed sleep.
