AvP MP demo is live

Apart from the matchmaking farce, the core game seems fine, a lot like avp2. If they remove the auto aiming crap it would be way better.

Also I don't like the fact that there is no crouch. What's with these games these days? First they remove prone and now crouch? What next, no looking up and down?!

ive had it downloaded for about three hours now, i havent managed to connect to a game yet.

No, first, they remove prone. Then, leaning. Now, crouching. Next will be jumping. Then strafing. In the end, all you will be able to do is watch.That's consoles for ya.
 
lol - yea, my demo just doesn't want me to play. Sit in lobby for ages and nothing. oh dear. thank god dedi's on release though.
 
okay, have just had a game annnnnnnddddd. It is not that bad. I had pretty much no lag, not that I noticed anyway, and I really enjoyed it. None of the problems people have mentioned here anyway.

Agree, not the best mode and level to demo, and I have always hated pure death match. the idea of a pure death match in this scenario just does not make sense. tis weird taking out other marines. However I think it will make a good single player game and the other multiplayer modes will be a riot imo.

The graphics - yes, not the best, however they are fine. Besides they will probably be prettier for release.

Defo keeping my pre-order. :)
 
Can't connect to any games now since the patch, all I get is

Searching for game
1 person in game
2 persons in game
3 persons in game
and then jumps back to
searching for game again.
 
remember that there wont be many patched if in game ;)

give it chance cause youl need people with same patch as you
 
With the comments on here it wouldnt suprise me if there were no dedis on release if the demo is this bad! It seems like a console port so I smell another MW2!
 
It is painfully slow waiting for a game, beginning to make me wonder if it owuld be faster/better on xbox live? Anyone used both as a comparison?
