Would rather of had a sp demo.. but will be happy playing the mp.

**** bt and their throttling of my account after 5pm. I should be getting 800kb/s-1mb download speeds but instead they throttle me to 200kbs after 5pm.

Just played the demo after waiting minutes for it to "Quick Match". :p Ulta long loading and crash the first time; Minutes again to find a match, then finally was in a game, winning 13-10 (Me hastens to add. :D) in death match with the Alien when the host left. Utter utter P.O.Poo I.M.O.
Instant Uninstall, not to be played again for me.
For the hardcore Alien and Predator fans me reckons might tickle their fancy.
Definately bad move having this MP demo and no SP for sure; or was it????

Been trying to find a game since about 6:05pm still searching...

Came out once and enabled the old windows firewall settings and went back in, still nothing.

Give the patch now please rebellion!
 
whats the patch about?

im not sure if im lagging i rarely kill anything and grab very rarely works i also appear to be made of paper no matter what species i am despite everybody else taking an age to die

Where did you read/hear this mate?

Really guys, it's not the worst demo going. Sure, the system is ****, but we don't need to worry about that, as we have dedicated servers for the real thing.

The graphics look good, game play feels good.

Of course it will feel weird to begin with, but most new games do. It's just getting used to the controls.

Play some single player come the real game, and multi player should be great. Just need to learn the classes.

I was expecting a better demo for sure, but I'm enjoying it so far ^^
 
yes stick at it and learn the new stuff and it will grow on you.

they are fixing the lobby stuff and it has been confirmed dedis servers and server browsers so most of big things are gone for games release anyway.
 
I concur, whilst some single player goodness may have been good, its a dx9 demo which is apparently a console port. I'm holding out hope that the final pc release will alay my fears. On the whole though I am enjoying and at the moment glad I'm only paying £18. Sort the lobby/online issues out and better graphics and jobs a good'un.

Wish this had cross platform play though, developers really need to start bringing that in on multi-platform titles!
 
First time in about 8 hours i managed to get my first go off the demo and i was really pleased how good the gameplay felt for me, the aliens are little fast gits tbh, i even got killed from behind by one with that little creature inside it's mouth.

I was even surprised how well it runs on my system with all settings maxed out (1920x1200, only one card not 2) but with no AA to select ingame i was lucky because it would have crippled my system, guessing it did help with the demo being an old E3 demo build so guessing the latest build will be a lot better visually and performance wise.

Right, an OcUK group for those of you wanting to get games faster by inviting than matchmaking.

The game we had with some of the L4D regulars was awesome. It really is good once you get past the matchmaking. A little laggy, but the Dedi servers should sort that, so I'm still in with my preorder.
