Anyone found that they loved a particular gun (L86 LSW for me) the first time through, then after prestige found a love for a new completely unrelated gun (UMP45)? It's weird. First time through I didn't use any gun bar the L86, and now I can't stand to use it.

You only get 1 claymore. Scavenger perk solves that problem though.
You can only have 2 set at a time. If you have a third in your inventory, and place it, then the first one you set explodes. Probably just as well, otherwise I'd have hundreds placed by the end of a game.
Derail? The lower roof over the A flag? There are so many ways to remove someone from that spot they just aren't trying
and with access from an adjacent roof there are more ladders than you can claymore.

Oh right, same deal really although I would have thought that one is even harder to hang on to. You can climb on that roof without the ladder (although precarious) and climb on the bin round the back to shoot through the gap in the sand bags across the roof at low level. Nearby roof level access as well.
I very nearly threw my controller at the wall last night! I was playing a game of TDM,the other team were american,and no matter what I did I just couldn't kill them
I was emptying full clips into them and they were dying.2 of my friends were in my party and they had the same problem.I think I finished 2-20
We left after that game but it is annoying when it puts you with americans when it isn't that late and people from the uk will be on.

Played a game of FFA last night and I downed someone and they went into "last stand." At point blank range it took over half a clip of my ACR in quick bursts to finish them off. Then the next game I got FIVE confirmed hits shooting someone running just infront of me and they didn't die.
I ended up sprinting and knifing them before they could fully turn and aim at me!
I still keep on coming back to the game and don't know why!

I have 6 days game play and its never happened to me. Could have been lag I suppose. I can honestly say ive had probably 90% flawless play. A couple of lag snikes but nothing serious.
I'd guess it was lag issues with the amount of shots to kill someone, as I experienced it for the first time last night.
Ok, I tried it last night and I didn't really 'feel' like I was shooting forward towards people....what am I doing wrong? I had lightweight, marathon and commando with magnum and intervention.
Normal knife is OK, tac is better as it's faster so much better if there's a group of people to pwn

It definately is a big advantage to attack with a tactical knife. If you miss with a normall knife there is a long delay. With a tactical knife you can stab multiple people in a few seconds.
Personally although I am good with the knife i dont like using it very much. I only switch to it to combat someone else using it. With shooting i will normally end the game with about 20-30 kills and 10-15 deaths.
With a knife I will get more like 30-55 kills to 10-15 deaths. I do normally end up dying because im laughing at how easy it is and how much the other team must be fuming.

as far as im aware, private games are un-ranked and as such any challeneges are non-achieveable.
makes sense really as that would be some serious stat padding lol
