My old Civic MB6 (now owned by someone else) lost half an exhaust valve a few weeks back, and it sounded almost exactly like a Subaru with the resulting chronic misfire, wish I'd recorded it now.

oh no contest and its a vr6 imho the vr6 12v or 24v are the best sounding normal car the lambo posted above the best sounding exotic and the brm easily the best sounding non aero engine. NOTHING beats the sound of a 27l supercharged v12 merlin though

You can fit a Merlin in a car. John Dodd did it decades ago, but I think he's most noteworthy for the court case involving it. The day after the judge criticised him for having a cavalier attitude to the law, he rode to court on a white horse, playing the part of a Cavalier. That has a certain style.

It's odd to watch a Merlin-engined car. The video says car, the audio says plane.
