Woohoo! Does it come with the latest FW and TRIM support?

Or will I need to flash it?

My OS is Win 7 x64 and BIOS set for AHCI.

You should set the bios to non member raid. That way you get the benefits of ahci and the flexibility to add some raid 1 or 5 storage solutions.

If you need to flash the drive - make sure the bios is in IDE mode.

I needed to flash mine as it wasn't on the latest firmware. Download the firmware update and run it when you get the your SSD. If it doesn't need to be updated the utility will let you know.

so is it TRIM supported? For me its between the INtel 80GB or Intel 160GB or should I be considering other brands??

Trim is supported and you generally shouldn't consider any other brands that are currently available.
The C300 & Vertex 2 Pro are the ones to watch out for.
