The Sennheiser Cx-500 are pretty good. I've had mine for about 10months now and still going strong.
Had those, 5 times, all broken ... due to wear n tear... need better if possible.
Sorry to be off topic, but how long did they last before they broke?
Reason being when I get a portable media player I was looking at getting these because I cant really afford much.
They just look like the Creative ...
+1 for CX500's. Can be had for £20 and under now and they're brilliant. Just got to watch out for fakes unfortunately.Since you you said you wanted some earphones for cheap, I think the CX500 fits the bill. Or the slightly cheaper version - CX300. They are very popular. Check the reviews to see how many there are![]()
You can get sennheiser cx500 for £9-99 delivered may aswell go for those.
Not my cup of tea though I don't like the muddy recessed midrange on senns.

£20 Actually. Just got myself some about 2 weeks ago. Definetly not fake.At 9.99 they are blatantly fake. Good fakes, but fake.
You are looking at £30+ for a genuine pair.

Im in same situation as OP, i have just bought asus xonar essence, and now need to get some decent headphones, unfortunatley the 30 pound creatives would be spoiling it, but im quite interested by the look of Sony Mdr-v6
