Dead Space 2 is coming out for PC!

Be amazed if it did come on PC as Dead Space 1 sold 36K copies in the US first month which is pathetic considering PC was the lead platform & a solid version. Those weak sales meant the same developer did not even bother making Dante's Inferno for PC either :(
 
Has it been officially announced that DS2 will be on PC as well?

Dead Space 2 PC's omission comes just a month and a half after it was officially announced for Windows, as well as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. However, since figures from the NPD Group show the original Dead Space sold under 40,000 copies on the PC domestically, a summary cancellation of a follow-up would not be completely surprising.

I was a bit disappointed tbh when I read this....as if we dont have enough intense action games already.
 
Stupid devs! Don't they know that NPD data does not include Steam sales? It surely sold a HEAP especially with it being on sale over Christmas!!

Deadspace was a fantastic game yes, theres been a lot of over hyped games out in the last 12 months, masseffect 2 being one of them, its awful. Deadspace was brilliant, as was one of my all time favs fallout 3.

Having vsync on was indeed the problem, but as far as I'm aware it was only because the in-game vsync option capped your fps to 30 instead of to your monitor's refresh rate (or at least it does on my PC). I also found (again, on my PC at least), that without vsync on, it's literally impossible to play the game because the camera just refuses to pan around no matter how fast or much you move the mouse. I had to force vsync on using D3DOverrider in the end, as it wouldn't work with CCC for some reason.
