Which performance estate under £10k?

Haggle what you can off of the Vectra MrLOL posted and just put the extra few hundred quid to it. Or be completely random and buy a 1998 V8 Jag of some sort.

Why not the Zafira now?

Ok, but what would the mpg be on that? At that millage what major jobs need to be done, cam belt (or is it chain driven - i don't know), the auto box, what reliable is that...?

I haven't decided against the Zaf, I'm just covering all base's in case i don't get what i want for mine or money gets tied up elsewhere as it usually does.
 
In terms of doing a job the Zafira should be ok, next door had one for a while and with the 3rd row of seats folded down the boot was huge, the GSI version looks alright.
 
My old boss had a Zafira, was constantly in and out of the stealers, they must've been rubbing their hands everytime it came through the door.
 
Am I the only one who thinks the OPs requirements have changed too much in the last 4 pages for this thread to be taken seriously?

but its a fair bit bigger engine, tax is more. I know "they're" small things but it all adds up. Plus i would like to think kids will be coming along soon so the zaf should cover all base's.......untill i see somthing else.....:eek:
 
But it's a van.
By the time babies become kids you'll have replaced the Zafira anyway.
Get an A6 Avant. You know you want to :p

lol, not to mention i'd be lucky to put 20k on it, i change cars like the weather.

Showed the boss, and she hates them all, but if she had a choice it would be the zaf!
