I was looking to replace my 26" TN, but there was nothing decent out there of the same size. Hoping this is where it will change.

Wow, as a U2410 owner. WE No disguised swearing please! WELL TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!! Seems Apple are kind enough to help their customers out, yet Dell just tell them their brown/pink/yellow/green tinted monitor is in spec.

I find concerning when Anandtech shows that the dell 2711 has more lag with the gaming mode enabled than with it disabled..hhmm....
Am not buying this screen staight from the outset because something tells me it's going to need a A01 soon after.
I don't care much about the delay when changing the resolution but yes 15secs is kind a a lot

lol, you will get the duffers apple don't want. Please read the U2410 thread before purchasing this monitor. different res, different screen size, same issues, same customer service.

Seems to get a good write up too, $1000 US is a bit steep tho no? This isn't going to be cheap in UK money either me thinks...
Would love to be able to afford this one, but pricing may be the sticking point...

I've seen that you can "buy it" (well, it's out of stock, but due on 17.02) for £799 plus VAT = £938.83.

They launched them here in Australia for $1199 AUD which wasn't bad considering the price in the US. Some people here have been getting them for around $990 AUD by contacting Dell & haggling.
If they are charging £1k in the UK for these then somebody somewhere is making big markup.
The U2410 launched in the US for $599 USD (don't know what it is now) while here in Australia it launced for $899 AUD.

lol!!! You can get a 27" imac with the same monitor built in (except it wont have tint issues) for £350 more!! This is the worst pricing of a product I've seen. They just wont sell. I mean most people are put off because of the U2410 fiasco, but at least that was competitively priced. Dell = fail.
