Performance remarks:
Getting some tearing so I might try and upgrade to the latest drivers. Assuming this is AMD Crossfire related as I don't think I am alone here.
I think it's important to remember this is a demo and that hopefully once crossfire/SLI support is added I can expect a more fluid gameplay.
I do however want to point out that the most important this is MIN frames. Given that a system like mine can only accomplish 20FPS (when i really need it), I would simply state that I belive EA have a lot of work to with the optimisation. In saying that obviously AMD don't have any mature drivers out for this game yet so I would expect that min frame rate to triple once this game is better supported.
Right, thought i might provide an update:
FPS: MIN:9, MAX:161, AVG:77.403
So by dropping the resolution and AF & MSAA I have gained almost 20 extra frames.
@Shuva61: Who cares what that game looks like when you are so FPS limited that the game is not playable.
Anyways. Installed latest AMD drivers and then benchmarked over 1.5 hours and my frames appears to be greatly improved. I'll now start playing with the AF & MSAA to find a balance...
SAME SETTINGS AS ABOVE WITH LATEST AMD DRIVERS:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
284310, 3279712, 11, 146, 86.687
UPDATE: 4x AF & MSAA:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
47759, 583106, 12, 142, 81.904
Really weird that there was only a small drop in frames.
