As said, It's not justified, but he won't be getting any sympathy from me, or many other people, I suspect.

I agree, can't help feeling rather good though that hes going to live a life of torture and abuse in prison.

Answer the question, do you think the sentence of 12 years is "fine" and proves that the law is working as intended for the benefit of us all or would you have preferred to see him serve a much longer sentence?

Don't give me this crap about how he might not get released when his minimum tariff is up, the assumption has to be that he will be based on a) past performance of the prison service releasing prisoners as soon as they can, and b) it's the whole point of a minimum tariff in the first place?

It's not a sentence of 12 years it's an indeterminate sentence (well two of them) - it's unfortunate you think that's crap but it's how it works. Your point a) is debatable and point b) is based on a plain flawed starting point, just because someone has served their minimum sentence doesn't mean they will be released, it means simply that they are eligible to be released after that point provided they are judged not to be a danger to society.

it's an indeterminate sentence he could never be released.

Just goes to show that even criminals have a moral compass.
In who’s opinion? In the eyes of the law all this criminal has done is commit yet another offence. It's not the responsibility of the public to decide what punishment a crime deserves. For that reason I don't agree with or support what this man done.

I am a Prison Officer, And this type of thing goes on all the time, It just does not get reported by the press unless the inmate in question is well known to the public.

Rules of the jungle so to speak. :D

nvm

Clearly not but I'd love to know how they build enough prisons to have one child murderer in each one and everyone else in there just stole some jewelry from Argos.

They don't have one child murder in each one!, I am a prison officer in a cat B prison and in our prison we have 2 wings dedicated segregation units which hold 300 inmates in each wing which are separate from the general population inmates of which there are 1162, most prisons are the same i believe.

deserves far worse than boiling water

Tied to a chair and forced to watch David Dickinson on TV 24/7 while Magick runs his nails down a chalkboard and tells him about government conspiracies such as how Bob the Builder planted explosive charges in the Twin Towers, how a hollowed out asteroid filled with alien Lizard shapeshifters is heading for Earth and that Queen Elizabeth II is in fact the CEO of the New World Order and can organise spy pigeons to dump on the heads of enemies at the click of her fingers ?

TBH, the only thing worth saying is that certain media businesses need to have samples of napalm mailed to them, preferably self igniting.

That way next time someone splashes HOT WATER on someone else they might remember the difference.

I only saw the story in one rag and just under the word napalm were the words water and sugar. Now it turns out its just water. Napalm their ass... :/

Cant blame any one for hurting him it was bound to happen at some point and this will only be the start of it , wonder how much sugar the guy put in to how high the temp would have gone

No it makes everyone one eyed.:p

Only repeat offenders/victims go blind :D

A man kills a boy.

Another man kills the man that killed the boy, because he "deserves it".

Then someone else kills that man for killing the man that killed the man that killed the boy.

...

It's all very well saying that people deserve horrible ends because of something they have done, but does that really make us any better then them?

exactly what i was thinking

maybe asim could be there too just to make sure he gets sent over the edge

By that logic we should arrest all prison officers and police for kidnapping ;)

What is to say that it will ever go any further than this? From what I can see, the death of the murderer accomplishes several things

1) He won't re-offend
2) He won't be a burden to the taxpayer for the rest of his life
3) He is punished, in kind, for taking a life by having his own life taken.
