Welsh roads. Isn't it.

The only picture I have of my car in that spot is facing in the wrong direction, but never mind :(

i was there last week.... 2 days in south, 2 days in the north. Great stuff. Snow held off and me and the misses had nice sunny days. Pics to come. Shame the misses was scared of going fast lol....

Saw some photo shoot on the A4069 hairpin. Type R getting recorded/photo'ed in different positions and speeds etc.

I drive them all the time. Going out in a sec, check your email tomorrow. Not posting them as requested.

i know most of them but could you send them to my email too?

I wouldn't mind some info too. Might want to sort out the 5s handling first though.

I did a couple of laps of the Evo Triangle today, the weather was pretty poor but the A543 section of it is very good as you don't have to watch your speed too much due to the twisty nature of it, the B4501 is much faster with more sweeping corners through the forest which was good but I was paranoid about being caught speeding and this section was very easy to get carried away on. I enjoyed some sections of the A5 aswell but being a main road it had a fair amount of traffic on it.

Fett gave some roads to do in another post which I hope to do later in the week and probably do the Triangle again at night, sadly due to some pot hole damage on my car I am in a diesel Zafira which takes the edge off it some what although it kept a fair pace going the brakes weren't happy. I am more than likely going to head back down with friends later in the year with more interesting cars.

I'm having a go at doing a Google map with the routes marked out, I'll send the link to those I have already emailed and Dup, AtomicBanana, Mr X plosion and Overlag as soon as it's done.

Pah, all these tourists parking before the hairpin, after the switchback on the road below the A4069 is where it's at
(you can see the hairpin marker posts in these pics)

Real men do "Y Mynydd" (as it's known locally) in the snow too

And the hairpins get used a lot on road rallies too

Awesome photos gents. I've never been to the Brecons, now I'm more southerly I might work up that way next time.

Can someone forward the details onto me too, please? Might have a day to fill later this week if anyone else is off work? Service on Friday so could do with using some of the spare ~500 miles before then!

(edit: or if anyone who lives close is popping out, I wouldn't mind the trek to join you!)

Map sent to those who requested it, it's a start and I'll add more over the next few days for Mid and South.

I'd rather not for a few reasons, including that I was asked not to post some of the evo routes on a forum. No problem for me to forward it to those who want it :)
