Wooohoo I just quad biked C4'd an m-com station! I know it sucks.

Also just got over 8000 points in one round, which was nice.

Still getting CTD but only once, then it is fine. :confused:

Bugger, I had to format my computer without backing anything up and have therefore lost my Play beta key email! I take it I wont be able to download the beta proggy and just fire in my username/password now?

Just saw a cheater in our team. He looked liked the enemy except was on our side. Made some ridiculous amount of kills. Worst of all he was a veteran(3)..

Awesome just played a few hours on a server with scarysquirrel (thanks for the shortcut into a hardcore server and soundb0y (i believe i have some tags of urs

). Loving hardcore just wish they'd allow iron sites for all guns!

Yeah, have seen this hack on YouTube.

Did you not mean to say that the cheater in your team looked like one of your guys but was, in fact, the enemy. Else he would not have the element of surprise would he?

Maybe he was cheating like this but is absolutely *terrible* at the game

Just sat down and had a brillaint 2 hours on battlefield 2142, so much better, better gun play, larger scale, much more tactical depth, i cant see myself buying BC2 as it stands

What's the playerbase like for BF2142?

I do really like BFBC2 but mostly because of the large playerbase. I thought ETQW was the superior game to be honest, though I'm sure many would disagree

Keep popping in occaisional evenings for a bit of a bash, still having a good time

Having some great rounds, I think my last kill streak was 10. Happy enough with that.

We were the Russian side in that round and he was wearing the US uniform. I`m pretty sure he surprised the enemy running around their base killing them. I started shooting at him until I noticed the green tag above his head indicating friendlies.

This is amazing on the consoles, I can imagine 2142 / 2 being better on PC though, not had a chance to try the PC beta yet unfortunately.

Had one on a server I played on. He was on the other side but killed me (and as friendly fire is off). His name was pkamat

After getting to play hardcore mode again last night, having not been able to find a HC server for a day or so, I must say that I will ONLY play hardcore when the game comes out.

It is AWESOME! Bullets actually do damage!

Any ideas why anti-aliasing isn't selectable under Vista for me either? Got a 4870 1 gig card. Still gives me the 1x dropdown only. I've tried changing from 'auto' to '10' in the config file

Its not HUGE, about 150 servers but only about 70 with 10 players or more, theres always generally at least one full server of every type though, its not hard to find a game by any stretch of the imagination but its not endless choice like TF2, BF2 e.t.c,
