Agreed

Just because it is not the best game ever still doesn't mean you cant have fun with it.
 
Just had my first go on it. Started with the marine campaign and quite chuffed with it so far as its very hard and the graphics actually help with the difficulty as you can't see an alien hiding in the shadows at all.

Play it on very high everything with 4xAA , Dx11 with tessellation and shadows all on. Runs pretty well so far
 
I've only played it online at the mo and i'm quite enjoying it, infestation is pretty good.

It'll even better the the dedi's are released. Anyone know when that is?
 
It appears ive got a sound problem with crackling, most noticable with the pulse rifle. Gonna try update drivers and see if it persists

awesome video man how much i missed the pulse rifle sound and the tension as the movements sensors beeps get faster :p can't wait till mine drops through tommorrow


ps whats this about DX11 not working properly

No it doesnt :p
 
If you launch the dx11 exe then it gets ingame tho "not responding" screen when you launch it it takes about 5-10 secs then launches properly. Pick marine it plays marine intro after that it bumps to desktop. Predator it bumps out after u click it as the intro doesnt even play for it and duno about alien.

Lol at above quote, tessalation doesnt do jack s for performance it kills it lol. 5 more years then tessalation will be good i think but not right now.

Isn't Fermi meant to have fast tessalation?
 
Ok here IS the widescreen version and better quality thanks to camstudio (loads of messing about tho).

Better appreciate the work i done to get it better for ya's :p


Give it 10 mins to process up to highest quality and if you want ws then click to maximize.
