Ideas for the future

19 year old - with a corsa (haha) chaved.. bwhahah..


stick to this poo can for a year or two and get something a bit more decent.. at 21 with ~3years ncb you will be able to insure scooby or an evo.. or another corsa chaved up in pink..

also saying "everyone has a different taste" is total BS.. you just do it because you THINK it looks cool..

thats was the initial plan aswell as keeping this

Yes people do have there own taste so its not "BS"

I dont THINK its "cool" just think its a nice looking car

grudas am I NOT allowed to have a diff taste to other people???

I will bet you a million pounds that in less than 5 years you will look at similarly modified cars driven by the local "yoofs" and think that they too, look stupid.

It's not having different taste, it's being drawn in to the typical young person's stereotype of a "nicely modified car".

You haven't developed your own taste for cars yet as you haven't owned/driven enough to form an impartial opinion.

Just stop, think, and realize that in the not too distant future, this money could go towards a car worth owning.

To be honest, have a look around this forum and you'll see no one with a similar modified car to yours. People with your 'tastes' tend to stick to the owners forums as you'll have more in common with them.

Whilst there are knowledgeable people here who can help you, most here will just laugh at you. (Myself included of course)

Im not just onabout this forum.

I am on another forum just was asking on opinions on here tbh on engine modification nothing else.. but if some people dont take is serious then fair enough lol

get the odd descent answer from people then **** from immature people

You've posted a picture of a badly modified Corsa. A car that isn't popular around these parts. That's like throwing meat to the wolves :p

dude im not a narrow minded fool(i like modified cars) like some people here (not trying to insult anyone) its not a proper chav "can" but its getting close in my mind chav consist of corsa-1.2ltr engine-tons of "Tat" on it-some gay color which makes it stand out-and a 4" fart can on the back, bucket seats which get no use.. interior with some LCD's..(you get the idea)

now personally the only bit i like about your car is the height corsa's can look good but they have their own kind of style which makes them look right

euro style suits them well - why? well first of all its not complicated like a "tuner max power w/e" car still looks clean(as its pretty much stock)... its still drivable(dont have to be worried of your kit) and it doesn't have gay colors if you know what i mean.. also putting a calibra engine in it would make it a proper sleeper :) but as i've said its not the car i would be spending money.. trust me you wont make any on selling it later.. spending money on a proper car (evo, subaru, s2k etc.. ) is a different thing.. just look at pistonheads..
see how many "Taty" corsas are there for sale.. and look at the prices.. most of them go lower than a stock ones do :) plus the owners have already wasted thousands on "chameleon paint", wheels, bodykits, interior etc.

Put some steelies on it and remove the extra body kit parts and make it into a true sleeper. ;)

Deffo prefer the top one but mine does not have a massssssive body kit on it and deffo doesnt have 4" fart can on the back, bucket seats which get no use.. interior with some LCD's haha

you on about euro as in dipdish alloys cos my front bumper is euro'd?

But you do have "M3 style" mirrors, over use of bodyfiller, some pretty rank sideskirts, and a "bad boy" bonnet.

All of which scream "I've got no taste".

Does it have lexus-style rear clusters?

Yes, Just over a grand and I met a couple of guys younger than me at a meet who both pay circa £3k.

Crazy.

Do yourself a favour and listen to these people. Don't spend money on your car and save for something better. You'll realise later in life how smart it would be.

I spent a couple of grand buying a 306 1.4 8v XL when I was your age. I should have bought a shed instead.

Like a said future plans wondering what people would do?... doesnt mean ide 100% do it..but cheers mate :) .
 
narrow minded people ;D if you modify a car you modify a car you dont do some racing spec thing.. its your preference i just gave my opinion on what looks better and is accepted better by the public (not that this should matter) and btw OP - the car would look miles better in a different colour :) black for e.g
