Ah AMV's, fun stuff :D. That Sugardansen one is pretty good although im a bit sick of the song by now, the attention it gets at conventions along with the dance is just beyond me.

AMV Hell - always good for a laugh, although a bit hit and miss lol.

Amecon Hell - A little 5 minute entry for Amecon 08 that was in the same style of AMV Hell, had me in stitches.

Animegeddon - Another one in the style of AMV hell that had me in stitches,but hit and miss in places.
 
I have about 5-6 AMV's which I find really good but most of them are total dross. The Sugardansen one is good (and Lsg1r's link includes a useful list of what series/etc are used), and quite useful. I have a copy in a proper video file (mkv or mp4 I think off the top of my head) which I tend to use to check whether decoding is working smoothly on new HTPC builds .... it's good on a big screen :) The Nenderoid Vocaloid AMVs are quite amusing though.

Werewolf; yep that's what I meant by meddled with with Robotech. :)

Alexrose1uk; there's three series for Full Metal Panic ... The original, Fumoffu and The Second Raid ... would be nice if Tokyopop would finish releasing the light novels too. I need to re-watch TSR soon as I got the US Blu-ray set for Christmas.

I see that Disney Japan are supposedly going to release the Ghibli films on Blu-ray this year ... be interesting to see how good a job they do if it given the age of some of the films. If they have English subs I may have to try to resist getting them ....

I dont tend to count fumoffu as it was more of a spinoff/sidestory series, which is what I meant by proper seasons. Ive seen FMP and TSR, just a shame they didnt make more. (although I didnt like TSR as much as the original)

On the subject of AMVs, that one I was thinking of, Ive got the feeling someone said it was also an OVA made as a tribute to AMV but I cant remember which series it was based on either!

@Werewolf- damn tempted to make a second preorder then, might wait til news on the cover though.

Hmmm, Im not sure if this is the AMV I was thinking of, one of my friends linked it to me and quite frankly I can't remember anymore! It does seem to be fairly well made though.
Some of the video is a little...risque...but I dont think it shows enough to cause any issues.

According to the notes it's based off Gurren Lagaan...which I haven't seen so I dont know if its anything like the show or not!
 
well thats mainly yoko from Gurren Lagann and I'd say thats a special video made using her as most of those parts aren't in the series or the films
 
Aye, watching it I suspect it was a promo for one of the va's singles or possibly a game based on the characters:) (Gainax aren't opposed to exploiting their characters, at all).

It's fun spotting some of the gainax (and other) references in it (Daicon/playboy bunny, I'm sure one of the outfits was from FLCL's sniper girl, and a couple more from Abenobnashi).

Finished Bamboo Blade the other day, fun fun little series i thought. I actually really want to go and try Kendo now because of it lol.

I wouldn't mind a second season of that sometime :).

Also started watching Letter Bee, i don't think its to bad so far, i think the art is really nice so far.

Loved Bamboo Blade .... more would be good and an easy follow on from the first season.

No that's not an AMV, that's a proper video for that song using Yoko
 
Yep, already been pointed out :) I dont watch/follow the show and was originally told differently so never mind :)
In that light it's closer to the music video for the Tales of Vesperia theme track.
 
Gundam Seed atm. Didnt think id like it cos i hate mecha stuff generally cept zoids which is a bit like mechas.

Found out its got space battles, good to get into characters tho kinda corny some and the animation isnt too bad.
