I think I may have to rewatch the last bit to hear In a Palm of a Tiny Hand again (I quite liked the songs, but couldn't really pay much attention to most of them when they originally played).
Aye I think you're probably right about Kyoto having learned a bit about adapting them by the time they did Clannad (wasn't that the last of the 3 to be done?).

re Eureka 7, aye I actually cancelled my R1 orders with Rightstuf for the UK releases (supporting the UK release, and incidentally saving about £5 a set :D), I think I may well go with E7 then going by your comments :).

On a related note, they've put the Clannad Lithograph up for pre-order, and I've been a weak wolfy and ordered one (works out about £33 including delivery).
I really need to find some nice 16x20" frames now, as I still haven't got my **** one up (I'd really like a simple clip frame type, but all the clip frames seem to be either A format, or Metric, and I'm not trimming the lithographs).

Yes, Air first, then Kanon and then the two seasons of Clannad .... as I've said before the series do seem to get more balanced as they go on ...

I need to get some of the lithographs to replace some of my existing pictures (I've got some poster sized ikea frames which could probably be used for them). trouble is the ones I liked the best aren't the ones available now. Although I am tempted to just create my own through Zazzle and get them a bit larger (assuming I have an appropriate source file)

Hmmm .... disk 2 of my YUA S3 Pt1 looks to be a floater ... hopefully it'll play ok. Evangelion 1.11 US BR release is Region A & B according to the packaging.

Holy crap I cannot believe I missed this, but Gundam Unicorn's first episode came out on the 20th. It also premiered on the Japanese PlayStation Network as well which is quite interesting.

it is/was a worldwide release as far as I know :)

Watched it, seemed to have a mix of old gundam seed style hair and gundam 00 style art. Thought it was a good intro type episode.

Yep worldwide release with near simultaneous releases in various places. The Blu-ray release is out in the US imminently (Amazon US says 16/03) for episode 1 (but at $35 for one episode ...)

In other news ... boooo .... A__a Season 3 + OVA has been delayed 2 weeks to 16/03 (Manufacturing delays apparently)

Anyone else seen Eve no Jikan (Eve of Jikan)? It was mentioned a while back but only just got round to it.

It's in 6 parts and looks pretty interesting so far (1st ep). I'm liking the animation style!

I gave up on Naruto and Bleach a long time ago, far too many fillers in between the main story and it just got boring. Right now I'm watching the above, Tokyo Majin, Canaan, Hayate the combat butler (epic funny!) and Sora No Otoshimono.

I think over the past 5 years I have seen every popular anime that's been talked about on this forum but I keep an eye out for stuff I may not have seen yet!

I will be watching!

Stelly

Episode 3 at the moment, I like it a lot!

It also has some quick witty humour in it too :p

No A__A for two extra weeks :(
On the one hand it's a little disappointing as I really want to watch it.
On the other it gives me some time to clear some more of my backlog :D

It's nice to have the delay announced before the release date though :)

Watched the first seven episodes of YUA:FT this evening. Usual mixture of humour and action from our favourite policewomen :D The only downside so far is that there have been a few changes to the character design for the main characters ... the eyes seem larger than I remember which doesn't look quite right at times with Miyuki ... also whoever is drawing them does suffer from the common problem of not being able to draw noses on characters faces in profile ...

... but over all great fun like normal :p

(incidentally it's nice that Sentai have finally managed to put trailers on for things which are new releases at the same time as the release they are on or are future releases afterwards ... I noticed trailers listed on there for Living for the Day After Tomorrow, Yozakura Quartet and Tayutama amongst others).

Yay my copy of YUA FT arrived this morning, along with Alien Nine (I've been reading the manga on/off since it arrived and it's slightly strange:p).

Also Sentai films in the states have announced YUA FT collection 2, Hell Girl Season 2, Eyeshield 21, Samurai Harem, and Appleseed BLu-Ray for May :)

I think I'm going to be pre-ordering at least YUA:FT and possibly one or two others:)

Eureka 7 is also shaping up to be pretty good so far, any idea if the movie has been announced for over here?

My copy of Spice and Wolf Vol1 with the slip cover from RS arrived today. The cover isn't quite as good as I'd hoped (the colour seems a little pale), but it doesnt look bad at all, and certainly looks rather nice on my bookshelf, plus my brother gets to keep my other copy so he's chuffed haha.

Despatch to arrival in 8 days, so was quicker than I expected :)
If I hadn't had to validate my ID the order probably would have taken 10 or less days.

Yep :)

After everyone mentioning 10 days+ was average I was pleasantly surprised :)
My only issue is they dont stock time machines so I could have got more volumes at once :D

I don't think there's been a UK release mentioned for the Eureka 7 film yet but I wouldn't put it past Manga to put it out eventually ...

Good on Sentai ... YUA:FT Pt2 for May then; finished Pt1 earlier so I'll be looking forward to that .... and they have Asu no Yoichi too ... that's good I've been enjoying the manga for it recently.

YUA:FT Pt1 was fairly light (although enjoyable) so I expect the arc with a strong plot in is probably in the second half of the series ... it normally is :)

I know nothing about Eyeshield 21 at all ... (edit: wiki'ed it; so it's a very long series about American football ... that's a very probably pass (no pun intended) then .... )
