Steam UI Update

there wil lbe the statistical feedback of lots of people ditching it thouhg :p

And no doubt the same gimps will still be crying when they force people to use the new version,

Beta is a hard word for a lot of people to understand these days, everyone expects a working product and no issues, they moan when things go down for updates and cry when things crash, Bad company 2 is a prime example of recent attitudes towards FREE betas, especially on the thread here :(

I dunno if it's possible yet but first impressions, i want the games to be split into installed and not installed, the way it was in the old UI

There is a way to do this, a sort/filter function at the top left, under the large text, id be more specific but im not on my main pc at the mo

Edit:
Click on Library, On top left see, Show, Click down on arrow and filter for Installed

Oh brilliant, now MW2 doesn't work either on MP or SP - 'the file localization.txt is missing' or 'this game is unavailable'. Balls balls balls.

My 2pence on how to make Library listings better has been submitted!

I gave it a go and it had to reinstall Company of Heroes then crashed.

Too beta-ish for me I think so I switched back for now.

Looks decent but I wish the window had a maximise button.

Installed the beta last night

it then prompted to redownload mw2 (even though it was installed from dvd) twice

im sure my isp will love that ive just downloaded 22GB for no reason at all

think i might switch back
