Six Nations 2010 **Spoilers**

An independent disciplinary panel found the offence, which forced Palisson from the field with a dead leg, had been reckless rather than deliberate.

Wtf? Could it have been more deliberate?! 6 weeks and he'll appeal? It's a joke.

6 weeks seems harsh for this. It's clear he was just checking that his laces were securely tied.

Potentially damaging for next years six nations and the world cup, Danny Cipriani has signed for Melbourne. I hope it improves his game tenfold and comes back like a prodigal sun and takes Wilkinson to the cleaners.

Flannery's kick should have easily been a straight red. The more you watch it the more you go "What was he thinking!!!!?????"

Sorry to say Cipriani is nothing but a short track bully. A good fly half needs arrogance, a bad fly half has too much of it, guess which one Cips falls under. The info I get from my pal at chariot central TW1 is that he was dropped by the current managment setup not because he tackles like the ladies Curling team but because he spends most of his time whilst in camp peeing off every other player there

Cipriani has talent no doubt, I just think he's struggled to apply it and control games week in week out. I think for the current England back line, that type of fly half is a better fit than Wilkinson, which I think illustrates the real problem England have, they are directionless imo.

Johnson is trying to replicate the style from the 2003 world cup where Wilkinson slotted in perfectly to a team built on a phenomenal pack and outstanding defence that would dominate territory and get a lot of first phase opportunities deep in the opposition 22, where Wilkinson just had to ship it wide to strike runners and the points arrived. England 2009 have neither a dominant pack or water tight defence.

Therefore I'd question why you play Wilkinson. He's always been a limited attacking option with the ball in hand and at the moment England are relying on him to spark the talented strike runners they have (usually from their own half), but unsurprisingly its not working because he's not that type of 10.

RE: Cipriani

An interesting article in the Telegraph today confirming some of the things my 'insider' at the RFU has told me in the past

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ru...ni-antics-prompted-England-cold-shoulder.html

The bloke is a prat and is no where near as good as he seems to think he is (It's about time he realised that Stuart Barnes is only one */allege on* alcoholic */allege off* pundit and not actually the whole Rugby world )

and as an aside in that article it really does seem that Ospreys are determined to get themselves chucked out the Heineken Cup this year :p
