Had some awesome games last night. I got my highest killstreak of 21 on FFA on Afghan.

I'm also loving a complete stealth approach to the game now, using silenced TAR and silenced M1014 along with scavanger, cold blooded pro and ninja pro. :D

Highrise is a pain for that. You spawn at the back of a building, see someone kill them, move forward towards the windows and they respawn behind you.

I counter that now by laying a claymore before moving foward, especially as you start to know where they will spawn and can claymore them as they spawn.

I'd rather they spawn walk forward a few paces and collect a claymore than spawn behind me and kill me.

Perhaps then if you spawn behind someone you shouldn't kill them either. Just say sorry old chap can't shoot you being a stand up gentlemen of the cod community.

What about tactical insertions do you not kill those guys when they spawn as well. If I find one I will happily wait for them to spawn on it and kill then repeatedly until it stops.

What about chopper gunner, do you not keep killing them as they respawn or sportingly give then 10 seconds to take cover?
 
Howcome everyone else in the world gets the sniper rifles to have one shot kills but when I use them only about 60% of the time i get one shot kills the rest of the time i get the stupid hit markers. Is everyone else got FMJ for them or something?

Talking about the Intervention and .50cal here.

I use Stopping Power Pro for the Intervention. One shot kill pretty much every time.

I love sniping, it's all I do. I used to be absolutely awful at it but not at all now. I'll headshot in a second.
 
I like sniping on wasteland, I'm just rubbish at it. Sometimes when I watch the kill cam I'm in awe of how quick some people can head shot you even close when you're on the run.
 
The people who can tap the left trigger and then quickly shoot before the scope has even appeared properly are the most impressive (is that called no-scoping or quick scoping or something like that?). I enjoy sniping but I'm not that great at it, much prefer the m16 or famas with stopping power and fmj, one pull of the trigger takes people down.
 
the problem with sniping is to get one shot kills you need stopping power and no silencer, otherwise like you said its hit or miss. Recently ive been using a bit of sneaky tactic.

I use cold blooded instead of stopping power and a silenced wa2000. Its a two shot kill but because its not bolt action you just hit the trigger twice and they're dead; then you dont show up on UAV's and get no red dot on the radar because its silenced. Its been working wonders for me, try it out and tell me what you think

I dont have a problem with one shots on the intervention. I use cold blooded and ninja without fmj so maybe you are just getting some lag? Try aiming for the top half of the body or head if you have more time.

And avoid silencers at all cost. Especially with the intervention. Getting the heartbeat sensor is a right b###h as you need two shots per kill and the recoil is bad plus bolt action with every shot :(

I cannot stand sniping at all; just can't do it. I hate them when I play against them too, especially when everyone does it on Wasteland: but have total respect for the ones who can just quick thermal and bang "you're dead".
 
nothing more satisfying that shooting a sniper who has,cold blooded,thermal and that wa2000 ,and i am using a FAL with open sight,and getting a headshot across the map on wasteland
 
Just completed the SP game on 'Normal'. Took 2 days, a little shy of 6 hours I reckon. This was on PS3.

To be honest, I enjoyed it. Lots of moments made me smile, and I particularly enjoyed the sniping missions with Price and the jail one. Playing through it felt a bit film-like, it wasn't exactly overloaded with cutscenes, but character interaction and stuff was very immersive. I didn't really understand the story... but manage to dumb it down enough and just enjoy myself!

One thing I will say though, I wasn't keen on the favela missions. Just spraying all over the place with no real objective was off-putting. Pop out, shoot, duck, out, shoot, move. Rinse and repeat. Still, I liked the whole thing, I must say I prefer shorter SP campaigns because I can stick to them and get them done, and the missions seem more interesting rather than 'Attack here, defend here, capture here' etc. Plus I have the MP component and 'Spec Ops', whatever that is, to get through.

Also, the very last mission was fantastic... such a cinematic ending as well as the credits. A+ for effort there IW :D

well done mate not easily done due to spawn behind

My best on FFA is 30-0-0 Flawles + kill streaks pred mis, harrier and the jolly green giant (did that with witch class knife only, kill streaks got me to about 20 kills) that was on Rundown.

Best kill streak I have is 38 on Afgan on the PS3 version again predator, harrier and then the choppa gunnaarr (I didn't do the gentleman thing whilst spawn killing :))

So whats everybody elses best kill streak then? (anyone in the fifties?)
