Program for stiching panoramics

Can anyone recommend a good Panoramic stiching program? I tried MS ICE but it doesn't like my images for some reason.
 
I was looking into this a while back, and ended up just sticking with Photoshop, it's done a decent enough job on the ones i've tried, even with 18-20 images.
 
i always used ps cs3, it does a good job, i always found it stiched raw files better than jpegs for some reason

You can do an auto stitch in photo shop? How? I just tried panorama factory and the best I can at the moment is this

Seriously, fix the issue with ICE; its much better than PS and PFactory. PS is okay, but it takes ages and never quite gets it right. You could post some links to the ones you want stitched and I could try using my version?
 
for cs3 go to, FILE, AUTOMATE, PHOTOMERGE.

insert all the picture you want stitched and press ok.

you can also auto correct the colours of each picture so they match, so you dont get the colour difference like in the picture posted above. I've forgotten how to do this though.

I've used a few stitchers including ICE. Ps gave the best results by far, but like I say I always used RAW files as it would stitch them better.
 
The biggest problem here is you've not over lapped the images. When shooting panoramics you need to over lap each shot by at least 25%
The more you over lap the better.
Any stitcher is going to have a hard time with these as they are basically butting up straight next to each other.

You've done the right thing in shooting portrait thought this will give you more flexibility once the image is stitched.

ahhh damn, wish I'd known that before taking the pictures.
 
Actually CS3 did a pretty good attempt with it, I'll need to nudge a few pixels here and there to make the blend less visible, but on the whole I'm fairly happy with it
