I don't get it, why?

I had 2 accounts, both 4-5 years old now but I have only played on and off since then.

7 accounts is plain madness, and I can tell you from experience, you are going to regret eve-ing your life away. Eve can be fun, but when you get to where you are, it's more like a job.
 
That's exactly why i left eve, i had just the one account and i could see it just sucking my life away, great game but i have bouts of it say a month or two here and there.

So has the game engine been upgraded again or is it still trinity?

Pilot wise i can fly about umm.

Quite a few ships, nothing gallente though i wasn't a heavy pvp'er anyway.

In game politics are what caused me to leave the last time, quite a few folks usually yanks take this game far far too seriously which did my head in tbh, so i skulked about in a very fast frig baiting any reds. :D
 
lol... i found i had another account with more playtime on it. Reactivated the wrong account, great. Is there a way to check the skillpoints of a character without logging into a game to see if its worth reactivating the other one?

nvm i just resubbed, 3 million skp on this char with 58mill isk. must have leveled in my sleep or something because i dont remember any of it :S

Yeh can do, main problems is capacitor, but have 2 large cap booster 2s fitted so can cope. Killing things can sometimes take a while but most of my missions are against Sansha and Blood Raiders which suits my ships to the ground :)

Was easier in my Apoc despite having lower skillpoints at the time, saving towards an Abaddon at the moment :)


New scorpion looks nice, hoping loads of ships are getting an overhall, the armageddon really bugs me with clearly having 8 turret spots on the model but only have 7 ingame!:p
 
just made a relatively expensive mistake, finally skilled up to be able to use a retriever and strip miners and so went to test it out (before insuring it (DOH!) in 0.6 space (just happened to be the system i bought it in) got distracted by a TV documentary and came back to see a pod on my screen.

bugger.

oh well lol, 4 mil before i can afford to do the same again. what a berk :(.

Just cancelled my subs again 1 month after starting again :(
Game's expanded and developed so much in the relatively short time I was having a break from it I'm sort of getting a bit bored playing it again, might have to start WoW subs again (probably won't, bad relations with guild haha) or just play BFBC2 :D

Dude I've got a spare retriever you can have in a highsec system called Ikami, I have no use for it as I'm in nullsec now. Give me your name in-game and I'll contract over.

I am not going to rise to this as it is somewhat obvious however Eve is the least game like game I have ever played and is vastly more complex and in-depth than things many adults do. So it really isn't "for kids".

I put more effort into this game than most people do in their jobs. :p

I have had to buy another account, I really don't want to but as you can't dock mother ships I have no choice it is going to be a pita otherwise.

I need 2 in 0.0 and 1 in empire. Nyx construction has begun and I should have fighter bombers in 2 months.

I am currently mining my ass off for most of the low ends and then building Citadel torps to transport the Pyerite and Trit out to the edge of 0.0. combined with the rest of the minerals to make cap parts and then in the POS for a Nyx. :D

To some extent I would agree with this. I got up to 5 accounts, often PVP'd with 2-3 at once but I finally desubbed from them all after I got fed up of logging in every night and having to FC until the early hours.

Lost an awful lot of time playing EvE as it isn't really the sort of game you can just stand up and walk away from for a break. I do miss it in some ways though and occasionally think about resubbing but if I do it will never be back to the multi-accounting days of old.
