Purely hypothetically...should it be possible to copy a drive image from a 30Gb SSD to a 60Gb (or bigger) SSD and have it just work without any fuss or tweaking?

Thinking of upgrading my 30Gb OCZ Vertex SSD to the 60Gb version so I can fit all my games on there as well, but can't really be arsed with another Win7 + programs + games reinstall. :p

Thanks, jbloggs - I'll get a copy of that.
Do you happen to know if DriveXML will do this? That's what I've been using for backups up till now...

Seemingly so, you would use the "drive to drive" option, but it seems quite a long and convoluted operation, I think ATI is much easier and quicker...

It should do, but you may end up having to mess around with resizing partition tables and MBR stuff, Was a load of hassle last time I tried it (going from a larger drive to the SSD)

Ghost and Acronis are easy and "Just work", however cliché that may sound.
