Lame wallet thread

I'd rather have a £5 wallet with £40 in than a £45 wallet with £0 in. Pointless spending so much :o
 
No to the white one - that will quickly get grey and scuffed in your pocket.

I'm guessing wallets to men are like handbags to women - you may go through several before you find one that suits you and you are happy with.

My purse, while still supposedly a purse is very wallet-like and I love it - sadly it's falling apart and I'm struggling to find a new one just as useful :(
 
Out of the 2 the second is best. However if it were me looking for a wallet I wouldn't pay so much I'd just go down the nearest shop that sells cheap wallets and buy one the one I have at the moment cost me a fiver.

Appreciate the input, i was leaning towards the Aspinal myself but it is not every day you see someone with a white wallet like that which is what appealed to me. Then again i guess that would make the wallet more obvious to anyone eyeing it ^^

Btw my current wallet is my pocket, so i thought id finally get one after people constantly commenting on the stack of cards and notes I usually pull out.

The inisials on the front are "blind", as silver imo would look out of place. Says TGW in the bottom right corner, with a "blind" aspinal logo in top corner.

That does look really nice Psypher5. Im not sure about getting initials on it as they kinda look tacky to me :)

i edited:

mines "blind" initials, so its just pressed into the leather. Looks smart :)
ill grab a pic, and of the back where it has aspinal of london written in silver.
 
Ex bought me a LV one. She knows I dont usually like that sort of thing and would never buy one for myself, but its quite a subtle one.

Have to admit though the quality is the better than anything I've had before. Very tight stitching and still closes properly when its gots a fair few things inside.

Worth the extra money, dont know? Well if its lasts as long as previous wallets and stays in good nick, I would say say so. Ask me in 5 years.

EDIT: The leather itself seems to be tougher and and more rigid than my other wallets too,so hopefully it'll last.
