*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Been on a few games tonight 9/10 were laggy (6 shotgun blasts and not one hit indicator to the back of an enemy on one game :() and also had problems with the ranking servers
 
I played earlier and had serious problems with the game.Just staring at the "setting up the game" screen for ages(maybe a minute or more),then getting kicked back to the lobby.This happened a few times.Then a lot of the games were very laggy. It got beyond a joke so I just turned it off:mad:
 
I've seen it twice today, certainly makes the game interesting! :p

Edit : TheSandyRavage has posted a new video on youtube, it's called 'Direct Impact with Javelin'. I won't post a link to it because of the swearing though. :D

Yes I had that on Saturday, and I left straight away.

Also noticed many people having gamertags with colours in them and also someone had the 'a' and 'b' button icons as their names. Stupid hackers.

Also last night was my worst night on COD since I got the game, I seemed to stumble on the worst bunch of players I have ever met.

I was playing domo and got killed by someone, fair enough I thought, but then I realised on the killcam that one of my team mates was stood next to him (near the hut next to point C on Favela). When I head back up that way I notice they are stood next to each other, not killing each other but killing members of the opposing team when they come back, the enemy would then jump out from behind where they are hiding and shoot me. It really annoyed me so I just started lobbing stun grenades at them and following them round.

So I left that game, and joined another, only to find another server with players doing exactly the same thing!!

I then joined a TDM game to have awful lag, and I joined an FFA game again only to get awful lag and get owned everywhere I went.

So I rage quitted and watched Anger Management. Only to return to the sofa and spill my juice all over the floor. :mad:

Twas not a good evening.
 
Just read through a few pages of comments here and in another forum, and I’m so glad I knocked this game on the head – it’s pretty poor that for such a A-list title, they let so many bugs/exploits/hacks go on, and from what I under stand a lot left MW1 for this very reason.

Much as I did enjoy the MP side of this game, and the speed it ran at, I simply couldn’t bring myself to play it after the BC2 beta, and better still, I got more for it on trade in than I paid for it new :D

I do miss spec ops though, watching a mate fire from the AC130 was awesome!

Interesting. I played the BC2 beta and just found it too slow. It was an ok game but I just disliked the games mechanics. Oh and also, MW1 is a solid game from when I've played on it recently.
 
I understand the hacks arent actually issues with the game, more that the actual xbox itself is being modified?

Tbh if you have hardline on you can rack up three care packages in about a minute of play (3 kills die 3 kills die etc). Anyone playing on wasteland along with me the other day would have thought the glitch was back.

I called in three care packages at the same time and all three copters came from different directions.

Its annoying beyond belief, the new xbox hack is going to kill MP games if they don't get a hold of it soon. Downloading hack discs and destroying games.

Its time they started banning gamertags as well as xbox's.

Bioshock 2 MP hacking is very hard to spot because you flick a d pad direction for god mode. Rack up some kills and make sure you die a few times.

Piracy never bothers me either way, it doesn't impact my experience but this new hack does.
