should i sell my ps3 becuase of pc games (hear me out)

well atleast you're honest in not giving console gaming a chance, yet still going out and buying them :O

I get caught up by the hype, I'm lame like that. I'll be honest, the only reason I bought the PS3 was because of the promise of keyboard and mouse use in FPS games. I've seen very little of that. I bought the 360 because I liked the look of Perfect Dark Zero, which should have remained looked at and not played.
Consoles knocks the spots of PC's in Sports and Racing games, but sadly I have zero interest in those.

are those even available in that size? I heard toshiba was "planning" on releasing one, but wasn't aware that they actually did - haven't followed up tbh.

Samsung and LG have confirmed (several sources from what I remember) that they should be releasing 42" OLEDs Q3-Q4 this year :)

I'm sure someone could contact them and 'persuade' them to part with one for the right price

well LG's upcoming 15" OLED is going for £2k..... think we can work out 42" is way too expensive to think about

<<< gonna go whack metal gear 4 on the 50 inch then see what i think and make my mind up. are there any good upcoming pc titles this year.

I keep the ps3 as it's an excellent media centre/light media pc.

great on the big tv with bluray/500gb hdd full of films and tv series and every so often a good bash on grid or the MGS games (from now on I'm only ever buying racing, MGS and Final fantasy games on the console tbh)

If your not gonna use your PS3 you may aswell sell it while you can get some decent money for it. I sold my Xbox 360 for the same reasons.

I don't play games often due to lack of freetime and other hobbies getting in the way so neither my PC or PS3 get any heavy use.

The PS3 has mostly been used for Bluray and I've got some games that I haven't even taken out the wrapper.

Now PCs seem more comfortable playing Blurays and graphics cards having HDMI I'm not actually sure I need the PS3 at all. I was going to keep it for streaming in another room but selling the PS3 would pay for 2 streamers.

I also find FPS games on consoles awkward compared to keyboard and mouse. However, as mentioned above consoles rule when it comes to racing games - one reason for my PS3 was Colin Mcrae and Gran Turismo (I didn't like Forza 2 at all which was a suprise)

Money doesn't come into it, I simply said it could be better haha  :p :D

As for upcoming titles? Off the top of my head all I can think about is Bad Company 2 (not exclusive but will run infinitely better on a PC than consoles, plus the game play on PCs is far superior in my opinion), Metro 2033 (can't see what all the fuss is about personally, graphics don't look "amazing" like a lot of people make out to be, and the story leaves me thinking what the developers get up to in their spare time...).

Not really kept up to date with game releases anymore. One to DEFINATELY look out for, however, is Battlefied 3 rumoured to be due out Q4 ;)

i have never owned a console unless you can count the sega mega drive :D

pc games > consoles

consoles is for people who likes macs and iphones... all that a console is, is a crappy computer that is more locked down and a flashy controller

I like Macs and iPhones yet I am not someone that likes consoles that much?

just so you know, I'm going to take every post I read from you with a big pinch of salt. Closed mind much?

What has liking macs got ANYTHING to do with this at all?

I like macs, I think they're smart and innovative. I like the iPhone, it's a bit of a fashion item but it is a market leader for a reason, it's pretty damn good.

I also like cars, so why am I not on the cars section?

Please don't post such silly things again, as with Disjunto I'll not likely be taking any of your posts seriously

Dreamcast was my last console, but I've always been a PC gamer. I remember when a big argument for console gaming was the social aspect of having a few mates round. PC gamers were called antisocial nerds. Now a lot of console gamers play on Live or PSN... Go figure!

If you have no use for it sell it. Though Heavy Rain does look good!
