Supermarkets that stop doing products you like

Takes at least 15 minutes to whack one up with some actual meat content to stick in the oven :D

These pies were award winning, loads of meat in them, good meat. Gravy which was so thick it was almost chewy and so so flavoursome, and possibly the best pastry i've ever tasted, cooked to perfection.
Michael Hart & Son in cricklade, best butchers I've ever been to.

It takes time to make a good pie, make the pastry, prepare the filling, preheat the oven, etc.
Sometimes you just wanna grab a pie at lunchtime.

No one gonna say it? Ok, i will:
Turkey Twizzlers.
Yeh, i went there. I loved them.
And now they are no more!
Now thats just nasty, I tried these once, saltiest most chemically tasting things i'd ever put in my mouth. Absolutely rancid, I couldn't stomach them.

Anyone know if anywhere still does Faxe lager?
Morrisons did for a short while, then lidl but i've not been near lidl for a while.

Those litre cans of tasty tasty beer were awesome, £1.60 each, even better.

The Chicago Town Takeaway Pizza's are more or less Freshetta's now.

The freshetta dough and sauce were much nicer than the chicago town ones from what I remember, it has been a long time though :(

There was a another type of frozen pizza too from about 6 or 7 years ago which I cannot seem to find anywhere. I don't remember its name though! It was called stone baked something, I think it was another one using partially cooked dough which rises in the oven, it had wonderful cheese :)

+1 i think i've had a yop everytime i've been in tesco's since i was a kid then they bring out these tiny little bottles for a quid what a rip off

OOHH YES. Its a disgrace. I used to get bogof big yop all the time when i was at work or collage. A bottle of that could keep you full pretty much all day. These little bottles still leave me hungry! lol.
And yes im referring to them at a food then a drink as they were bordering on the thickness of a solid, thus sooooo goood. :p

I think Chicago Town own the Frechetta brand now. I keep meaning to try another one, this time without the pointless tomato stuffed crust (added nothing to the pizza).

Haha funny you should say that look what i got today:

I'll take a photo of me happily munching away on them in 15-18 minutes :D

/ and yes my nails are dirty lol tramp i'll clean them for eating! :p

although when i picked them up in the shop i thought the box said tampon

Rank ... ive only ever had the jambon ones once and i struggled to finish them they were vile. tomato fromage all the way ! I love these and if Iceland aren't going to do them anymore they I wont be shopping with them

Tesco's do a decent custard doughnut

Nowhere near as good as morrisons or sainsburys dougnuts if we're talking supermarket doughnuts though.
Morrisons is much more moist with finer sugar. Sainsburys generally quite moist with a custard which tastes more of vanilla.

Though to be honest they're pretty much all the same, bought frozen, cooked and filled. You don't beat a fresh dougnut from a bakery.

You used to be able to get nice jam doughnuts from ASDA in a bag, haven't for a long long time though because they're so bad for you.

i liked them very much so infact i was burping up the taste this morning (:(), although i did pick the tampons off before i eat. eh jambons.

was the only kind they had in store.

Tesco used to do a big plastic tub of chocolate powder that I could mix into my milk in the morning for a breakfast cereal. :) It was a 1Kg tub of fairly coarse powder and was just the right chocolatey-ness not super-mega-sweet like Nesquik. Don't get why Tesco stopped doing it. It was an own brand product and even if I was the only person in the UK consuming I think I was keeping the chocolate powder high up on their most sold items list. :D

Custard ? Doughnut ?

CUSTARD ??? DOUGHNUT ??? :confused::confused::confused:

Custard doughnuts are the best type of doughnut!

My local Asda removed it's cheese counter after having it for about 3 months. Can only get really cheap crap processed cheese now. There are literally more bags of pregrated chemical cheddar than the rest put together.
